I came today and the photo of the place looks nothing like when I arrived. It's has been remodeled and is now called Havana 86. I ordered the bistec de palomilla a la plancha from the polite staff. My waitress brought out the food fairly fast due to me arriving at 1115am. The ambiance is actually nice. It almost feels like you have traveled to Cuba with music playing in the background. Now for the food. The rice was basic and kind of cold. My plantains were cold but still tasty. My steak was the heavy weight lifter and carried me on the flavor bus. It was so delicious that the entire plate could have just been the steak, and it would be fine. I would recommend this place to others and hope you enjoy it as well. Bon appetite

Found this gem while looking for something to eat & let me just say this place was amazing. Our waiter was great. The food amazing. The empanadas just wish it was 2 for $4 but flavor amazing. The natural juice and the smoothies 10/10 recommend.

I had the pork asado with yuca y tostones. It is not a fast food location, but the wait was so worth it. Delicious

Cuban style lechon was juicy and flavorful, rice was perfectly cooked, and the boiled yuca was cooked fantastic. Added a side of black beans, which were perfectly seasoned! I also ordered a mango/gauva fresh juice, which was awesome!!! Service was great, and sitting outside was a plus on a nice day.. Thank you for a good meal!!!

I travel into Tampa frequently for work and like to try different coffee shops and this one has earned the #1 spot and I will be a repeat customer! The coffee was incredible, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy, warm and beautiful. Kid friendly and a spot where you can set up shop to work for a few hours

Parking is on the street in front & behind the building. I came here for the lunch special, which is a wonderful deal (personal cheese pizza & a soda for $5.99) and great food. A small place, with 4 tables or counter service to go. Food came quickly, was delicious and hot, at sweet price point. 2 tvs, with some Spanish music playing lightly. A/c in the dining room and a very clean patio out front with 8 tables in a fenced in, curbside patio! Try it out!

Small restaurant, BIG FLAVOR!! A friend of mine told me to stop by and try this place. She told me I would like it...and she was right! I stopped by to grab some dinner to go...I got the Pollo Asado on Arroz Moro & Yuca...my oh my!! The meat just falls of the bones!! So very tasty!. And the staff are such nice people. While I waited I was allowed to sample some Cuban Coffee...THE BEST! EASY 5 STARS!
